Google Calendars - How to Subscribe?

Subscribing to the Division of Neurology Calendar

On your iPhone or iPad:

Because the Division of Neurology Calendar is on Google Calendars, you need a Google Account, with which you would subscribe to the Calendar.

This can be done on your computer; if you are signed into Gmail on one tab of your browser, you can then subscribe to the Division of Neurology Calendar by hitting the +Google Calendar button when viewing the calendar.

To set up your Gmail account on your iPhone or iPad, follow these instructions from Google for syncing Google Calendars with your iOS device.

You will then be able to view not only your own private Google Calendars on your iPhone, but also will be able to turn on and off viewing of the Division of Neurology Event Calendar so that it does not show up amongst your own private calendar items unless you wish them to be shown.  Updates to this calendar from the Division of Neurology will be pushed out to your phone.

Outlook will synchronize the contents of this Calendar from the published Division of Neurology Google calendar whenever it performs a send-receive operation.  You can manually trigger this by going to Tools à Send-Receive à Send Receive All.  (F9)

New events that you add to your Outlook will NOT be published to this calendar.  If you wish to add events to this calendar, please contact the webmaster.

In Outlook 2003:

Subscriptions to Google Calendars is not supported natively in Outlook 2003.

However, there is a 3rd party plug-in called RemoteCalendars which apparently will allow this functionality, and which can be downloaded here.  (Buggy.)
