At this year’s Division of General Internal Medicine Research Day on June 6, 2019, we’ll be presenting the inaugural Dr. Jack V. Tu Award for Research. This award, named for the late Dr. Jack V. Tu, will be presented to the winner of the best oral abstract at Research Day. Dr. Tu, a general internist by training, was an internationally recognized cardiovascular health services researcher, and a strong supporter of student research.

We know that each person has a unique story and lived experience that brought them into our care. We know that they are more than a combination of symptoms or co-morbidities, and more than a diagnostic problem to be solved.
